Letters to Afghanistan

A few months ago, our Primary wrote letters to soldiers in Afghanistan. A woman in my ward has a son serving in the army and wanted to send them a nice Christmas care package. Today I received an email from this woman telling me to look at her son's facebook profile picture. I laughed so hard when I saw the letter he was holding up. I never saw what my kids wrote, but I am so glad to have it documented now....
Under this picture, Danny wrote "The kid who wrote this is probably the coolest ever." Yes, he is. He's very literal, too.

Browsing through a few other pictures, I found other soldiers posing with the picture too. I don't know if I should be embarrassed or proud... but I laughed so hard I almost cried. That's my boy!

  3. Nope, I only vaguely remember hearing about it. I wonder if I had seen it, if I would have let it go.... ?

  5. Hahahaha! *wiping tears from eyes* That's fantastic! Though it may seem a bit tactless, I guarantee (proven by the multiple pictures taken of it) that it was everyones favorite. Sometimes what people in a serious situation need most is comic relief. I love it!
