Merry Christmas! It's a GIRL!

We spent Christmas morning at my parents home with Cindy and Matt. It was so fun to make my boys sit and pose for a picture on the very same stairs I used to walk down as a little girl on Christmas morning...
The boys got new pj's, robes and slippers. They opened up a few Lego sets and then Grandpa brought in the last present wrapped in a blanket and a big bag..

My boys have been asking for a dog for way too long... and 2010 is the year she joins our family. Last night before we fell asleep, Luke said, "What if we get a dog?" I asked him this morning if he knew and he said, "NO! I didn't ever think we would really get one!"

Yes, we got a girl. She's a Golden... not quite 8 weeks old. We're still deciding on a name, but I think we've narrowed it down to two: Little Miss Sunshine (Sunny) or Star Wars inspired Padme (Paddie).. Vote to help us decide!

Simon absolutely loves her..

Except when he gets in trouble for hitting her..
