me, my friends and our babies
I felt like I had to wait forever until my girl friends joined the motherhood club... and it's simply wonderful watching them raise their little ones. I'm also very glad I am not the only one lugging around strollers and diaper bags!!
a few more from the pool.. I know I keep talking about this weather, but it is absolutely beautiful!

Vegas is the place to be...
Francine and Adam are here for the week on vacation and we are having lots of fun. Karlin and family came through on their way to CA and we were able to relax by the pool and get caught up on life. Absolutely devine.... more pictures to come
Aspen and Avaree are best gal pals. Aren't they so cute?

high five
Five things I was doing five years ago...
1. Running around after Ben (18 months old)
2. Pregnant with Luke
3. Trying to finish my degree at BYU… (still had a few months to go.)
4. Working at United Way…heading up the Sub for Santa program for all of Utah County—a wonderful opportunity but also nightmare!
5. Living in BYU housing and loving my neighbors/ward/experiences there… what a busy, wonderful time. But no- I do not wish to go back!
Five places I’d rather be:
1. Hawaii -- or anywhere with Aaron (tropical paradise preferred)
2. Alone…reading a book by the pool.
3. Hanging out with my fav gal pals. You are all so far away!!
4. Doing something crazy like skydiving or bungee jumping. I guess I am craving some excitement in my life.
5. nowhere else but at home with my boys. I feel so lucky to be able to spend so much time with my kiddos!
Five things on my TO DO list today:
1. Shower (you know, it doesn’t get done everyday)
2. Read to my kids
3. Go grocery shopping… you wouldn’t believe how much milk we go through!
4. Make dinner
5. Go to bed at a decent hour.
Five Goals to accomplish in my lifetime:
1. Be the best wife and mom to my family.
2. Serve a mission with Aaron (tropical paradise preferred…jk)
3. Run a marathon.
4. Speak another language fluently.
5. Adopt a child (or children) from an orphanage.
Five things I would do if I were a millionaire:
1. Pay off student loans
2. Buy a house with a big backyard and luxurious pool
3. Take my family on exotic vacations… Spain, Italy, Australia, you name it… I also want to travel the country in a gigantic motor home. Take a couple of years to tour historical sites and national parks… no tv, telephone or distractions.. just being together as a family.
4. Hire a maid.
5. Since everything else seems pretty shallow, I would anonymously give to those in need…poor students, single parents, charities, etc.
Five things I'll never wear again:
1. If my husband could decide, he would burn my tight black exercise pants… (thanks Val for letting me steal them from you. I heart them, but Aaron hates them.) I wear them almost every morning to work out… very comfortable but not so sexy.
2. blue eye shadow (never say never, though)
3. my Sconecutter uniform…how I loved my first job!
4. That totally white jumpsuit thing I had in high school… I cannot believe I wore that (and thought I was cool while doing it…)
5. Actually, most of my closet should be on this list… but I don’t know a whole lot about fashion and don’t really care… moving on.
Five favorite toys:
1. Bosch
2. Camera
3. Laptop
4. Paints, markers, crayons, anything artistic
5. Legos (seriously)
Five people to tag:
Anyone who has the time to do it… I am not one to name names☺

blue man group
What did you do in between General Conference sessions? We painted our kids blue and took pictures of them.

Our Halloween costumes have been out and our boys have asked several times if they can dress up as blue men, but I know they could never pull it off for an entire evening... (trick or treating wearing a swim cap isn't exactly ideal) But I told them we could do it for fun sometime. And even though some of you may disagree, I am not entirely crazy and didn't attempt to paint them while Aaron wasn't there to help me. So this weekend, while lounging around, we took on the task and succeeded! Zack wasn't thrilled while getting painted, but he was just fine posing for pictures. We are going to enter a few "creative kids costume contests." We'll let you know if they win.
