dough girl

Today I hosted a bread making demonstration with some friends from the neighborhood. This cold weather (and I mean, we're getting into the 50's here) makes me want to bake bread everyday! Some people are afraid of homemade bread--thinking it's too complicated or pioneerish, but it's not! Hear me out.. it's really not hard. Today we did bread bowls, homemade soup and cinnamon rolls in under two hours. This is the only picture I took of the event... These rolls were so sticky and gooey after they were baked. delish!

And we had the perfect guest for dinner tonight........ Rachel (my brother's wife) had a work conference in Vegas and Tim (my little bro) decided to tag along. It was so much fun to see them! The boys were literally on top of them the entire time they were here! We LOVE visitors!

Wish I could have come to your dough making class. Fun to have Tim and Rachel in town. Is she expecting? We are totally SNOWED in right now. I don't dare drive anywhere. I think we are going to have a movie day!

I wish I were at your class. I've been wanting to learn how to make cinnamon rolls for a long time. Again, I think you're AMAZING!

Yep, I want recipes too! Especially for the bread bowls; I am such a huge fan of them and I have all of the stuff to make clam chowder this week. Perfect timing.
