what i am gonna do with this kid?

Seriously. Ever since I posted about my cute little Zack and how much I love him, he has been a wild child... getting into one mess after another! And since no one wanted to buy him last time I put him up for SALE, I think sending him to an orphanage is our only option.. Here are a few pictures to prove how much we hate him.

Title: A Little Blue Food Coloring can go a LONG way.
Culprit in Crime: Hank (the little boy we watch in the evenings)
Officer on Duty: Daddy (who got paid vacation for taking pictures of it!)

Title: Homemade sandbox of Nestle Quick.
Culprit: Luke
(He didn't make the mess, but he sure played in it with me!)
Officer on Duty: Mommy

Other messes THIS PAST WEEK that we didn't document with the camera:

An entire bottle of carpet cleaner actually makes a big STAIN on the carpet.

Cold Caprisun drinks make GREAT squirt guns
(and also make the entire house sticky.)

Banana splits on the kitchen floor...
(I mean, chocolate syrup spread all over the tile might make someone do the splits on the kitchen floor.)

ART EVERYWHERE

So, the question is:
Are there any WEEK-LONG summer camps for 2 year olds?

and if you are interested in seeing video footage of the Nestle Quick adventure, it's posted on our Home Videos Blog.

I love Zack. I think he is adorable. I would trade kids but Jayben is just as much trouble. They should be friends for sure!!!

oh my goodness... they must've had blue mouths for days! i'm so glad that wasn't my house covered in nestle quick! makes me feel like the mud that is tracked into my house on a daily basis isn't so bad afterall! can't wait until we have landscaping! but... after it all, those kids of yours are still adorable!

don't montell williams or maury do some white trash boot camps for kids with "issues"? you should look into it...

They do have those baby drop stations where a Mom can leave her baby without questions. Maybe they will take two year olds? And maybe just for a few weeks-- you should look into it (and let me know what you find out). :-) Vaughn is sitting on my lap right now (and just deleted my comment so I'm typing this for a second time-- ahhhh) and loves the pictures of Hank and Zach. He keeps saying "Dach...Hank! Hank sad...I sad." And gets a very concerned look on his face.

That is funny. Avaree has been getting into Nestle Quik too. Lately she has been eating it plain by the spoon fulls. I've spent the evening cleaning up after my kids. We didn't get out much today and my house is a mess!

Your little boy looks a lot like you! I like the picture in the bathtub with his hands up. He looks like the quilty party trying to say don't get mad mom!

Jeremiah keeps trying to sell our boys for $10. He even try to sweeten the deal with a two for one sell with twins. And at one point he was offering $10 for who ever would take them. Funny enough though he has never tried to sell is little girl.

I want to know what your reaction is when you find these "little" messes. Do you calmly say, "Now children, I know that's a lot of fun, but we shouldn't play in the Nestle Quick and make messes for mommy," or do you scream and then grab your camera?

janet said...

I scream and slap and hit. Then I get some foundation out and cover the bruises before I take pictures.

seriously, though. I get MAD!! Especially after he poured a water bottle over the mess and it was JUST after I had mopped the floor (literally minutes after..) Arrrr.

Wow! That is incredible though mopping the floor is just asking for a mess. Somebody spills a drink just about every time I mop the floor - or that's how it seems. My kids...well my eldest at about age 2 covered his little friend with toothpaste. Amother of them drew all over a rented house with a red marker pen - floors, carpets, doors wallpaper!!! I don't know HOW but I found I had a stain remover that got most of it out and I then had to do a mosaic on the wall paper with a roll of nearly matching border that I found in a cupboard. Miracles happen...thankfully!

I was thinking about getting a sandbox for Jake, but maybe I'll just get out a cardboard box and some Nestle Quick. Seems to be just as entertaining at a fraction of the price!
