Aaron met us at the YMCA last night after he got off work. After a good sweat, we headed to my cousin's for dinner (thanks Kara!) Then we had to drive home separately. Ben and Luke opted to drive with Daddy (of course) and Zack wanted to join the boys, but his car seat was in my van so I wouldn't let him. He was mad and yelled from the back seat,

Mom! Don't you know that I like Dad MUCHER than you?
I like you a little bit and I love Dad a lot and a lot!

He fell asleep within 2 minutes and I enjoyed the silent drive home....(a lot and a lot.)

Thanks for the invite. :) I was missing you. I don't have time to catch up on your posts right now but I will. Love you! Thanks for the phone call last night.

LOL! You are a good parent for not saying, "I love Dad Mucher than you too!"

Spoken like a true 3-year-old. Tactless or not, he sure is cute and his little antics just make me giggle. I can't believe I've never met Zack in person. Your blogging of him and all your boys is so descriptive, I feel like we hang out all the time. The next time I see you, I'll probably go to give your boys a big hug and they'll scream and run away from the crazy lady...

My kids do that too. They think they can only love one person at one time. And sometimes when I tell them I love them, they will say no I love daddy. It's a good thing they are stuck with us.

Sucks being the 'mean' parent, huh? Although I have found my boys' allegience totally depends on who is doing what and when, so they can still be swayed by things like stops at DQ, promises to stay up late, and the like! Soon we'll hear how lame we BOTH are, so at least they like one of you still! :)

He says that now, but what would he do when you stopped feeding him dinner? or stopped letting him play dress up in your closet (I bet dad wouldn't let him dress up in the closet in those clothes :) ).

your so good about writing what your kids say. I need to be better, i also need to get my video camera back from my sister and see if I can catch Sarah doing her silly baby tricks.

i hate being the boring parent! but my boys will usually pick me over my husband. Preslie on the other hand loves her dad way mucher than me. 2-1...I still win.
