Judge me all you want, but I am not ashamed to admit that I love to the Bachelorette. It's my guilty-pleasure. It's the cherry on top of our spiritual Monday/Family night. I think Jillian is a doll and she's finally weeding out all the nerds she picked first round. Seriously, how did some of those guys get picked for the show anyway?
I don't know who you're rooting for, but this is my dream team top three. In particular order..
Yes, I love the break dancer. He's been my fave since the beginning. I am hoping they aren't showing much of him because he's she'll keep around for a while. They always save the best for last. Michael has style, charisma, good looks and a sense of humor. What more does Jillian want? Kiptyn (I would much rather call him Kip so I don't think about his name being spelled with a Y) is a cute guy and obviously he and Jill have something going on. Robby isn't so photogenic, but I think he's super handsome... and I like the way he works it. No diggity.
And I am crossing my fingers (and toes) that these three get sent home ASAP.

What is wrong with David? He seriously needs to sign up for anger management classes. I was so disturbed by his rage. He needs to be locked up before he kills someone. I kept asking myself while watching him pace around like a mad man, "What happened in his past that made him so ANGRY?" I am embarrassed for him and so disturbed that some bullies never grow up. I am not a fan of Juan or anything, but David is such a drama queen. I can't wait to see him get denied next week-- and hopefully sent home.
Then there's psycho Tanner. Is anyone else disgusted by his foot fetish? He seriously wants to make love to her feet. He doesn't need a wife.. he needs someone from the ankles down. I cannot believe this dude is fo REAL, but it makes for great television.
And last but not least, I hate Wes. I doubt he will go home anytime soon, but I can stand to watch him. Whether or not he's a good country singer, I just don't think this kind of exposure is good for his career. He's so full of himself, he doesn't have any room for a girl in his life. I hope he's the one with a girlfriend... He's gotta go.
and that's all I have to say about that... until next week or so.

You make me laugh! I do NOT watch the bachelor/ette, but reading your posts makes me want to. I still won't. I always watch the final rose/after the rose, but I can't stand how they all break up three months later!
I was SO excited when they announced Jillian as the next Bachelorette. Duh! Who better deserving than her! And with her cute Canadian accent, you listen to every silly word she says to those boyish men! But I haven't had a chance to watch much yet... my girls (12 & 16) always seem to be awake, and I want to screen each episode before (if) they watch. Who can blame me, after last season the way what's his name had his toungue down every girls' throat. He was VERy cute, but you can only watch just so much of THAT! I seriously think he kissed the female grip and the lighting girls, too. But you have to give him serious props for going on national television and making a SCHmuck of himself.
But I am off-track, here. Tonight I will watch while my girls are at their YW activities. Thank goodness for the DVR . . .

Wes is some sort of control freak that thinks he owns the girl. GET RID OF HIM LADY!

FOOT BOY is wack. I was so grossed by him nearly making out with her foot in the hot tub!
I have a hard time viewing Michael as a responsible hubby and father. He just doesn't seem grown up enough yet.
Completely agree with your bottom 3... such weirdos! Why are they still there! I was glad to see her send home Brad this week (does that make be petty). I'd add Ed to the top 3 though :)
Ed is cute--- but I think he's too high-strung for Jillian.. watching the clips with him and the guys, it seems like he has no sense of humor. Most of what he says is monotone and boring. But maybe they would balance each other out.
Jake the pilot is okay (really, I think she has a lot of great guys left-- if only she would get rid of the losers..) but doesn't Jake seem a bit on the nerdy side? Granted, he's got a great chest :)
I am just smiling to myself thinking about what a double standard we have. If my husband was watching a show like this and commented about all the girls chests, he would be such a pig! But we women can do it. Yes, Jake seems like a nice guy.. but their conversation lacked to me-
I think Michael would be a great dad and husband. I am not sure about the whole break dancing career as a huge money maker, but I love him anyway.

As far as my top guy...Sorry but it's Jake. First of all I personally think he's the hottest of 'em all. I think the conversation was simply a matter of the editing. He was in the background this last week, but I think he's going to be one of the top dogs.

I didn't get to watch all of it but David is out of control. Wes is annoying. Foot guy is a wierdo and Juan thinks he is SO smooth. It better not be any of these guys... are there still 13 to go? Jillian is a babe though! Love the pic of your boys CRASHED! I think hand in the pants is a boy thing. Every since potty training Weston is obsessed.
You ALMOST made me wish I was watching it. I know I'm missing out, I just needed a break for a while. I'm counting down the days until Big Brother starts...you can't get much lower than that in reality tv. Keep up the Bachelorette posts. It's still fun to read even if I'm not watching!

I'm an Ed fan. I can't for sure say why, but I know I really started to like him during the last show. I also like Reid. Maybe it's because they are both kind of shy. It's cute. And I totally agree on who she needs to get rid of. Wes is totally there looking for exposure, not a wife. Whenever the camera is around, his guitar is out.
