I could write 19 pages of reasons why I LOVE the show 19 kids and Counting. But dinner is on the stove and my husband will be home any minute.. so let me just say this: Michelle Duggar is my idol. She is soft-spoken, positive, selfless, encouraging and all around fabulous. I realize that I don't know her personally, but I feel like I do. If there is a house I could visit for a day, it would be the Duggar home. Their children are respectful, funny, smart, well-rounded, talented and all so lucky to be a part of such an incredible family. I honestly think (if I could afford it and stay mentally/emotionally stable) I would have 19 kids of my own. The show gives me hope for the future and proves that even though children are sheltered (and homeschooled) they can turn out somewhat normal. What I wouldn't give for one of my boys to marry one of the Duggar girls! Anyway, I know the show can rub some people the wrong way, but it's my fave. Congrats to Michelle and Jim-Bob on baby #19-- Josie born premature at 24 weeks. I know I am a more dedicated and soft-spoken mom after I watch Michelle at work. If she can handle 19, I can totally do FOUR!

Michelle delivered #19 due to pre-eclampsia, which is the same thing the killed my sister (eclampsia). I hope the show brought some knowledge of the condition to the public eye. I totally agree with you--she is a lovely woman! I only have two and can barely keep up!
She is amazing! they both are! I love the show as well. I cried when Jim Bob said "this is fixin' to change our lives forever" with tears in his eyes. I wonder if they will continue having more kids after all of this. She is awesome!
I love the Duggars, too! I think they get a bad rap, but I think they have done a great job with their family. Their kids seem happy, kind and well-adjusted. Some people with two kids can't say that.....

I feel the same way, it's a rare show that makes you want to be a better person after watching it.
Speaking of quality shows......I watched the bachelor last night. All I can say is that Vienna seems so trashy compared to the other girls. What is going on there?
Isn't it odd that I love both the Duggars and the Bachelor? They are so.... similar. Yes, Vienna is a hoe-bag. And apparently she "wins" I basically hate it, but can't stop watching it..
This is one of my favorite shows. I pretty much want to go visit for a month or so to watch how Michelle does it. She has to have a very special gift to be able to do that!
