I thought it was high time to change our Halloween header and threw the kids on the couch for a quick photo. Last year's header was so cute and Christmasey...
This is what I got today. Obviously no one was taking me seriously... oh well. this is what life looks like today. messy hair and silly faces.
So much has changed in a year. Simon fits in the pajamas that were Zack's last year (size 4-5T). Life with a toddler is crazy. This morning while I was washing dishes after french toast, Simon opened the pantry, took out a quart of olive oil, poured in on the tile and started ice skating around in his footsie pjs. I stopped him just as he opened up a jar of peanut butter (which would have made the clean up much worse.) He can now open the fridge and freezer as well as our shower door. A few times, he's surprised Daddy while in the shower-- and got really wet himself! He's a lot of fun, alright, but he's always into something. I am having all sorts of deja vu from a few years ago.Zack needs an update of his own. I think it's been a month since I've recorded all the funny things he's said. I am ashamed to admit that many of them are forgotten. Last night, I asked him to play a game with Simon while I finished dinner. Zack took him in another room, but Simon quickly escaped. Zack chased after him screaming, "Intruder! Intruder!" Simon was running away fast! Zack finally cornered him and said, "You get back, young lady!" Ben said, "He's a man!" Zack said, "He sure isn't acting like it!" There's more where that came from, but I have boys who are telling me it's puzzle time, not computer time. And they're right.
I miss updating my blog and reading others, but this time of year only allows so much. I can't believe Christmas is only 24 days away!

not this cute anymore!
