I just LOVE February. Especially when it's sunny and breezy. After a week of visitors, the house is empty but we filled it up quickly with hearts and flowers and candy and LOVE. We have two (yes, I said two!) Valentine parties planned for this weekend... Friday and Saturday night, baby!
I just added our old list of love songs to my side bar. I updated it with our song for 2010 "Love Like This" by Natasha, which was our theme for our anniversary getaway. It was the ultimate song for driving over the ocean in a convertible. If only we do could that again... tomorrow.
The big question of the hour is-- What is your LOVE SONG? Does it change frequently like ours does or has it always been the same? Whatever it is, find a copy of it, put the kids to bed, dim the lights, fire up some candles and dance to it this week with your hunny.
Happy Valentine's weekend!

Janet as always you amaze me! I am so impressed with all you are and all you do! I have been meaning to tell you I would love your Valentine's Day party info. I obviously won't be throwing one this year, but would love to have it on file to possibly do it next year!

Mine is always changing. Right now, I am really relating to "Teenage Dream". I am not a big Katy Perry fan, but this is how my man makes me feel on a daily basis. He never fails to make me feel good about myself and even if I am feeling all gross that day from no shower, cleaning house, or even being sick, he still growls at me to let me know that I am still beautiful in his eyes.
In the past, it used to be Shania Twains "Your still the one".
I love your love list. We might just borrow a few for our CD :)
We just threw our valentine's party last weekend and it was fun. Our song this year is How deep is your love by the Bee Gee's. It was very fun to dance to. Thanks for sharing the love. I loved hearing about your parents coming into town. They are amazing people. I hope I can be like them. They are so good at serving others.
When Dave and I were dating we joked that we didn't have a song. (We aren't big dancers, even though he has caught me in the kitchen for a slow dance a few times.) So we decided to get one so we turned on the radio and "Don't Start you Cryin" from Tarzan was playing. Not the most romantic but even after 6 years, everytime it comes on we belt it out and start dancing!
Beatles - there are places i remember. Chris and i walked down to a guitar solo of this song and we love it!
* walked down the isle at our wedding -left that part out oops
