the call is in....

My parents have been called to....

(wait for it)

CHILE, Concepcion!!

I listened on a conference call with a bunch of my siblings.
After my mom read the call aloud,
my dad said, "That letter was addressed to me.
Here's yours. See if you get called to the same mission..."

She's going to Chile, too.

They enter the MTC in May!

Your parents are the best. I learned so much working with your mom in YW so many years ago. I know they will be amazing missionaries. Congrats to them!

HOORAY FOR MISSIONS!!! They are going to be so amazing, those missionaries are going to LOVE them, and you guys are going to have SO MUCH FUN writing them letters and sending them packages!! Just a heads up though - you thought your family was big now, they are going to come back with a couple HUNDRED more kids they call theirs. Just warning ya!

That's wonderful! Are you going to set up a blog for them to post their letters and pictures? (or do they have one already?)

A girl who served in my ward did that. She'd write home and her family would post it on her blog. It's so great to read about her experience as a missionary.

That's so awesome! My parent's are in Norway on a mission and it has seriously been the coolest thing for my family. Our entire family has been blessed like crazy cuz of it. It has brought us so much closer and has been awesome for my kids. Plus, couples get to skype and call whenever they want! Good luck to your parents!
