This week we are talking about MONEY.. So, we built our own store with a cash register to boot. We're preparing for a lemonade stand this weekend (Any suggestions from those who have done them with their kids?)

They poured out their piggy banks and purchased their old toys.. very exciting, I know.

Luke made the welcome sign to the store.

Ben was in charge of getting things around the house and putting price tags on each of them.

Mom was in charge of the money table and the lunch menu.. they had to make sure they had enough money at the end to buy lunch..

While eating lunch we talked about how we can make it better next time. Ben loved everything about it, but Luke didn't like counting out all the money and said, "I think I just want to use a credit card next time."

Awesome. Totally get your boys hooked on credit cards while they're young--think of the potential...they could literally be in millions of dollars of debt when they are our age! :)
I'm with Luke; credit cards all the way!! What a cute family. Gosh, it's been a long time since I've seen them and you. You haven't changed a bit...looking' good! And Vegas? How do you brave the weather? Thanks for checking out my blog. Yours will now become a regular of mine, hope you don't mind.

my little Preslie had a lemonade stand this spring. It was a total success. She sold lemonade and cookies ... 25 cents each. But since you are in vegas, better raise it to 50 cents!
I love Luke's comment. Your homeschool looks fun! When can we join?! Love, Amy
