the 60th birthday party...

the band = Stan on the drums, Kirk on keyboard, Jake on bass, Brett and John on electric guitar, John and Aaron singing. I seriously can't wait until their next concert. They totally rocked!

The weekend was entirely too short. Saying goodbye was devastating! You forget how much you miss everyone until you get together. Aaron's siblings don't see each other often enough. Everyone is spread apart and busy with their own lives-- work, school, babies, life. It really sucks that we live so far away from each other. I left AZ feeling so grateful to be a part of such a wonderful family. Three cheers for a fabulous Dad who has been an excellent example for his children and a wonderful grandfather to mine.
Happy 60th, Stan the Man.
Thanks for giving us a reason to celebrate, you old fart!

Family ROCKS! I am so jealous of you; having great in-laws is a fantasy of mine. It looks like you guys are genuinly happy.
P.S. cousins for the kids to play with would be nice too!
You are a genious when it comes to making posters. I could never do something like that! and I bet you whipped it out in no time.
just putting my high school banner making skillz to work........
it took me over an hour to do it.
It was YOU who made all those posters in high school? I knew it had an air of familiarity. I've always loved your cursive, BTW.
How did you get your photos like that? Are you using a new special program?
no special trick to the photos. Upload them small without any justification. Then in the html code, backspace until there is no line between the picture codes. Does that make sense?
Email me if you need more explanation. The comment box wont let me type in the code...
Thanks, I'll give it a try. You're much more blogger savvy than I so you may be getting an email...
