puzzlin'

Our Christmas chain countdown tells us to spend the day doing our annual 1000-piece Christmas puzzle. So that's what we're doing. We may not finish until next year, but that's okay.. who says a new baby should keep you from your traditions? Our photographer (Zack) had the camera, so we took a few pictures of the blessed event...

behind this wild-child is his latest permanent marker masterpiece.
I wanted to repaint the dining room anyway....

Zack took it upon himself to snap a few of the baby, (who was quietly hanging out on the sidelines)
I love angle from Simon's foot... and that action screaming shot!

We put a short clip on our Home Video blog... but it's not as exciting as last year's videos...
amazing that twelve months have passed since then and he's still just as crazy..

I'd forgotten about this idea - it's a little late in the month, but I think I'll start it next week after school gets out for Tyler and I. I love your crazy little man! And I can't get enough of Simon. I wish that I could kiss and kiss on him...I guess I'll have to have one of my own for that. :)

My boys want to know what Zack is eating? Seth thinks he laughs a lot and was very entertained. When I asked them, "shall we look and see what these boys are up to?" Alex replied, "Is it the pie boy?" Yes it is! We love the artwork. Alex did some of his own at about that age, with a red marker on pale green carpets and wallpaper in a beautiful, RENTAL HOUSE!!
Have lots of FUN!

Zack is eating ice cream. Is he the pie boy because he was licking the chocolate cream pie last year?

and we had plenty of masterpieces on the walls of our rentals. but wallpaper is probably the worst. How do you fix that?

Zack is such a character. His eyes twinkle with mischief. He cracks me up. It looks like you guys are enjoying the season!! Isn't it great?

Thanks for the sleep advice! I just needed someone to tell me it's ok to go for it. I let Jake cry to sleep and it was so worth it. I became a new woman. (Thanks to YOUR advice back then again!) I'm just having a hard time taking the plunge this time around, even though I KNOW that the end result will be worth a few hard days! Thanks:)

Merry Christmas!
