Firty-Four

It's his birthday today. Not the one looking at the camera, the other one.
I think 34 is a handsome age. He's exactly the same as he was when he was 24, except now he has a few more gray hairs. He's still funny and kind and easy-going. He's also organized and clean and always on time. He does calf-raises in the shower, eats cold cereal every morning and sometimes gives driving lessons to under-aged children.

We've been through a lot together. I feel lucky to cuddle up to such a warm, sweet, intelligent 34 year old man each night. He's everything I've ever wanted in a best friend and husband.
