meeting Sara Jean

Our trip up north was great-- very cold, but wonderful. I wasn't prepared (since we're still wearing shorts everyday.) I did pack one pair of pants and one sweatshirt for each of my boys... and that's all they wore the entire week. It was SO great to see Deb's little Sara. I am tearing up right now cause I miss her already! She's so far away and she will grow so fast. Here is the beautiful baby girl.

She has gorgeous blue eyes and long, curled eyelashes. Deb is such a cute mom of three little girls!

We spent most of the time at Bear Lake @ the Jeffery's big cabin.. it was absolutely beautiful! Deb and her girls came, plus Francine and Adam and Val and Annie.. it was a fun crowd. We went four wheeling, played at the lake, ate yummy food and stayed up too late talking and laughing. I know there are more pictures, but I never seemed to have my camera.. here is what I have for now.

We also were able to spend an afternoon with Matt and Val in Logan. The kids played in the leaves and we went to a cool pumpkin patch. Val took our family pictures in the gorgeous Logan scenery.. she is such a talented gal.

Okay, so I know that jealousy isn't a good virtue...but I am so jealous that you and Val got to hang out with your kids and husbands! I am also jealous of the cool pumpkin patch experiences. I looked up some with hay rides and they were all far away. What's wrong with stinkin' Kitsap County?! We've got a lot of farmers around... Anyway, so we were going to make the trip at my insistence but had a birthday party to attend smack-dab in the middle of the day. So I guess Max's pumpkin experience this year will be Albertsons or someplace equally as exciting. Bummer. Whoa, way too much information on the blog comment! :)

Glad your trip was so great and that you got to meet your sweet new niece. I loved all of those pictures of your family! Love you, Janet!

I think we totally need to harrass Annie into starting a blog so I can see cute pictures of her kids... Also, I feel like I need a family tree of all your siblings and all their kids so I can know who belongs to who, and be amazed at the sheer volume of cousins your kids must have, my kids have one cousin, Sophies baby, Deacon!
