I am so in love with this kid. Seriously, I cannot get enough of him.
He is silly, sweet, charismatic and oh so funny!
He is silly, sweet, charismatic and oh so funny!
I know people dread the terrible two's but it's my favorite!
(and brand new, floppy newborns... and when they are learning to smile.. okay, I love babies.)
Zack's 2nd birthday is just around the corner and he is pure entertainment at our house.
What would we do without him? Probably turn on the tv or go to a circus or something.
He is busy and seems to be making messes every time I turn around, but I wouldn't trade him for anything!
He loves Santa and constantly says, "Ho, Ho, Ho!" in a deep voice,
but sometimes he's mistaken and says "Boo, Ha! Ha!" which is hilarious
He knows it makes us laugh, so he's constantly switching it up.
We cannot take this child out in public without having someone (usually of another race)
comment on how cute he is.. I think it's cause he's super fair and WHITE!
He also knows exactly what will make people smile-- and he's such a ham.
He loves to blow kisses to sweet old ladies or say, "Hi, I Zack." to the cash registrar.
He is as white as a marshmallow and just as sweet too!
This week he's said, "Mom, I go poo-poo." (He often tells me after he goes, which isn't very helpful.)
But yesterday, he's told me before! We rushed him to the bathroom and had a celebration when he went in the toilet!
I cannot believe it. Now, I highly doubt he will be potty-trained any time soon
because my other two could read before they were trained (It seemed to TAKE FOREVER for them to learn..)
But we are still partying over Zack's little "accomplishments." Isn't it crazy how we can get so excited over poo?
Anyway, I love this little boy! Who would have guessed I would have been so happy for boy #3..
(because we all know I cried at the ultrasound... I SO wanted a girl!)
But we're so glad you insisted on coming to our family, Zack-Zack!

I think anyone who has been in the same room with him loves him too. Such a cute little guy!
Janet, I just want to let you know that I can only look at your blog when I am in the right mood...what I mean is you are the official June Clever and I feel like an even bigger dud when I see all the things you do with your kids and now...you are making bread?! Just stop! Your boys are adorable! When are we going to go to Jason's Deli?
I love the header and the quote! :) So appropriate. I am still laughing about how you write "isn't it crazy how we can get so excited over poo?" It's true though--we had a similar experience here last week and I was so excited. Yeah, it didn't last. Dang. I can't believe your youngest is two Janet...time for another! :)
Gotta love little Zack! Seriously, can you imagine your family without him anymore?? I can't and I can't believe he is going to be 2. Ugh... don't even get me started on potty training! Good for Zack. Can't wait to see a Shumway girl one day though.
Seriously, how can you NOT love a face like that? He is so cute! Terrible two's or not, he looks like a sweetheart.
I need to see him again; it's been too long! He and Max would have a great time together now that they're a little older. I love all of the stories and videos that you share about Zack. And I love how individual your boys are...three totally amazing little guys with their own personalities and talents!
oh man, he is a doll. i'd love to see him in person. i love that age. It is a good thing we don't get to pick what babies we get. It all turns out so great. My friend is pregnant with her 4th girl. She has NO boys! Sad!
Another member of the blue man group family - I love it!
too cute!
I too cried when I found out I was having boy #3, and now I wouldn't change it for the world! I think #3 must come extra special or something. I need ot meet this cute Zack of yours. One of these days I'll get my act together and we can hang out. :)
