Say Cheese! It's GIRL'S DAY!

What am I going to do with this kid?

I swear, every time I turn around, I find him in the middle of a miniature disaster.

At least this time he helped with some of the clean up.

Can you say CHEEE-TOS?

Other than the Cheeto incident, the day has been fab. Ben and Luke were so sweet to me and I didn't exactly know why. When I woke up this morning, Ben was so excited to announce it was "Girl's Day." He presented me with a love note and said I could do anything I wanted --even watch princess movies! They were both asking me what they could do to help or if I wanted them to do my hair or paint nails. I thought the whole thing was really weird, but totally took Luke up on the offer to brush my hair- just because. He played with it for over an hour!! And when Zack was down for a nap, the boys told me that I should take a long bubble bath while they clean up their rooms.. ? Sure! I honestly had no idea what was going on.. and by this time, I was sure their dad had put them up to something. When Aaron got home from work, and I mentioned it, he was as confused as I was. But while doing the dishes after dinner, I looked at the calendar hanging in our kitchen and saw that "Girl's Day" was printed on March 3rd.. (apparently it is a Japanese holiday.) They must have seen that and thought it was a day for ME to celebrate! I thought it was very sweet of them and they totally made my Girl's Day a special one! This was Luke brushing out my hair (that happened to be curly and not so easy to brush, but I was happy never the less!) I seriously felt spoiled today and I will make sure to keep March 3rd as an annual Girl's Day holiday in my house!

That is the sweetest thing I've ever heard! I guess that's why the work out this morning was extra long and the kids were all extra patient!!! They're so thoughtful!

I hope my boys are as sweet as yours. They think of the cutest things. Don't you just wish that you could freeze time with them (sometimes, not always). I love hearing about how much they adore you.

how sweet. I can't believe that they thought of everything to do for you all by themselves. You've got some great boys on your hands.

That is just the cutest thing! What a bunch of sweet little guys you have. And how lucky are you to be the only girl in the family on Girl's Day!

That is so cute. I didn't know it was girls day either. Apparently nobody else in my house did either. Be grateful for your sweet boys.

So cute. What thoughtful little guys you have, and isn't it the BEST when kids want to play with your hair?! I always hope I'll get a girl, that being one of the reasons, but hey, maybe Vaughn can be trained.
