Today, Zack hugged me tightly and said, "Mom, I willy willy want to eat a whiskers."
I laughed and said, "That doesn't sound very yummy."
He responded, "They ARE yummy. They have chocolate and peanuts. You know, the bag is up on top of the fridge."
Me: "Oh. You want a SNICKERS? Not a whiskers?"
Zack: "Yep! You thought I wanted to eat those lines on a cat's face?"
Me: "I wondered."
Zack: "That would be WILLY GROSS!"
Me: "I can guarantee you've eaten worse."

And with a face (and a sombrero) like this, I will give him anything he wants.

not this cute anymore!

I've made this mistake too. This year, for many reasons, I made the goal to not eat ANY candy during October. I had to throw November and December in too or else Nov 1st I'd be eating everything my kids got.
Homemade goodies that are truly worth the calories are on the ok list. Just no candy. Wish me luck!
And I'm sure Sombrero boy loves you all the more for giving him chocolate instead of animal facial hair. :)
I should probably add that the bag of dark chocolate hershey kisses has been added to the non-candy list, as long as I eat it with some nuts, aka protein. lol
That is willy cute! I am a candy addict. The Halloween season is NOT good for my body!
