Today in church we sat behind some of our friends in the ward. The mother had her darling 2 year old daughter on her lap and was combing through her hair with her fingers.
I rested my head on my husband's shoulder and whispered, "See? I need a little girl so I can play with her hair during church." Not more than 20 seconds after I said that, the little girl turned around to her mother, gave her a dirty look and squealed, "STOP!" It was a classic moment. Aaron and I were trying hard to contain our laughter when she turned around again and said, "Mo-om!" You're buggin' me!"
Today I am grateful for my four boys and their short hair.

so cute. :-) I about died at church today with all the little girl dresses, and cute little shoes. I was secretly praying to please please let me have just one little girl someday so I can put her in adorable dresses.
Nate always tells me it's just fine we don't have any girls becuase if we did we would be even more LATE to church then we already are because of the hair! haha.
Or they go to church in tangles which is even more embarrassing than being late. Jennabee doesn't like me to touch her hair with a ten foot pole. I want to cut it but Joe won't let me.
That is so something I can relate with. I love my boys too! But wouldn't mind a girl someday.
That's hilarious; perfect timing. I told this story to my friend with three boys who desperately wants a girl.
