Our Halloween costumes have been out and our boys have asked several times if they can dress up as blue men, but I know they could never pull it off for an entire evening... (trick or treating wearing a swim cap isn't exactly ideal) But I told them we could do it for fun sometime. And even though some of you may disagree, I am not entirely crazy and didn't attempt to paint them while Aaron wasn't there to help me. So this weekend, while lounging around, we took on the task and succeeded! Zack wasn't thrilled while getting painted, but he was just fine posing for pictures. We are going to enter a few "creative kids costume contests." We'll let you know if they win.

The clean up process wasn't as hard as it may seem... 20 minutes after photos, they were as good as new.

Only you Janet! I can not believe how different your boys look from each other. You can really see it in the blue pics. I love it...and I am so glad it was blue not red (go Cougs!)
So fun! I'm so glad your boys have such fun parents. I think we all need to paint our kids blue more often. What kind of paint did you use?

I love that they were good about not smiling - they look just like the blue men in the show. I can't wait to see what you guys are doing for Halloween this year!!!

We still talk about you and Arron showing up at the Wyview Halloween party looking like that. That has our award for the best costume ever. Somehow I do not think we would look quite as cool with our almost a whole foot difference in height, but you guys looked great. The boys look so cute! How fun!

holy cow i can't stop laughing! Actually I was a little feaked out at first, but now it's really funny! The best part is that they all have the same expression on their faces. Way cool idea. Parker's costume is extremely boring compared to this.

Hi Janet, this is your cousin Kara. I have been reading your blog and absolutely love it! You seem like the funnest mom in the world--seriously! I loved the Blue man group pics. I told Clay if we can find one more person to join us, we are going to have to copy your idea. I'll let you know if we end up doing it. I just don't think I'm going to be able to find paint and swim caps that match so perfect like yours. Love yoU!
