We went to the dairy "farm" today with a few friends from the neighborhood. I dressed the kids warm because for some odd reason, I figured we were going to an outside farm to watch cows being milked. I was so wrong. The only cows we saw were the plastic ones outside the factory and the stuffed talking cow "Calsie" who narrated part of the tour. I wasn't disappointed because it didn't smell like cows, and my kids were happy because we got ice cream at the end of our expedition.

And Val... guess what ice cream they served so appropriately on MLK day.. yep, cookies and cream. perfect. we might have to do without the traditional oreo shake party tonight.

not this cute anymore!

Everytime we go to the Oregon Coast, we always go to the Tillamook Cheese Factory. And they do the same thing. There is fake cows to take a picture with and you get to taste cheese. You can't go without getting an ice cream, of course! There is a huge cheese/gift shop and they want you to buy everything in it. But it is always fun. I love field trips like that.
you need to read my sisters latest post, I think YOU would appreciate what she has to say about a certain book about vampires. Oh, it made me think of you!
You managed to get some pictures at the Dairy Farm with a dead battery?! I love your hat! It's so cute. Do you mind that I comment on EVERY post? I can't help myself. By the way.. I love the boys creativity with the floam.
