Aaron "helped" Zack carve the Transformer Autobot sign. It looked awesome until Zack messed it up with a bunch of sloppy paint. But we were chill-parents (something I've definitely had to work on) and allowed them to destroy their perfectly beautiful orange Jack-O's. They will be in the garbage in 7 days and the kids were happy with the results...

When it is dark out and they are lit up you can't even see the messy paint:) I totally hear you - Jake poked a bunch of holes in his pumpking while Brandon watched football and I did dishes. In the end Ryan helped him make a face that resembled a jack-o-lantern, but this year I could care less!
i was planning on carving pumpkins this year but it's not a task i wanted to take on by myself and jason has not been home and then it snowed and our pumpkins froze and then became mush... maybe next year! yours look good!
