It's another BOY!!!

We ventured out of the house yesterday and bought a beta fish. This is our 4th or 5th beta... (Sadly, we can't seem to keep them alive.) I figure if we're not responsible enough to keep a fish alive, then we are not ready for a dog. No way, no how. We they named him Lizard. It was either Lizard or Iguana. I voted for Iguana so we could call him IGGY for short, but no one listens to me around here. He will probably only last a couple of months anyway, so what do I care? Introducing the newest member of our family, Lizard.
No, Zack does not get everything his way. Therefore, Yoda is not swimming around inside the bowl with the fish. Yoda has to give his Jedi instructions from outside the glass. I can't say for certain, but I'm pretty sure Lizard is intimidated by the little green monster.
This morning, I found myself in my bed with all four of my boys. Aaron was getting ready for work and we were just chillin' and talking about how we have zero plans for the weekend. I asked the kids if they were sad that we weren't in Chicago/Detroit. They said, "Yeah.... but WE GOT A NEW FISH yesterday!" As if buying a $3 Lizard-fish cures all broken hearts. Maybe I would feel more excitement about the fish he were a girl. No such luck for me.
