amazed.

Sorry about yesterday's long post. Sometimes I even annoy myself with how much I talk.

What I meant to say was: my kids built a MAZE in the rocks across the street from our house (with other big rocks :) It took roughly about 2 hours... with a couple of potty breaks. I am not exactly sure how it happened, but I think it was a combination of Luke's smart brain, Ben's hard work ethic and Zack's enthusiasm for life. They each AMAZE me with their own special talents and individual personalities. I love them so.

holy freaking cow, janet! that looks like it took all day. Look at how perfectly straight the lines are and there are even wrong turns. They took the time to make wrong turns! that is unbelievable. wow.

their friends came over to do it with them and they were discussing how it would have been easier to do a blueprint before building it. yeah, I think my kids are pretty dang cool.

ps. they make mazes all the time on paper (with wrong turns and all) but that is nothing compared to the size of this. We had people coming home from work and stopping on the side of the road to watch the kids go through. I think we'll start charging admission :)

That is mighty impressive! I never got a chance to comment on your post yesterday, but I think you've got the parenting thing right... by a long shot. If I'm being honest, I used to be very against homeschooling... until I started reading your blog. Now I think it's fantastic, and would probably do it myself, if I had even an ounce of your creativity and motivation.
And just as a side note, that is the very best edition of Jane Eyre EVER! I own it and watch it all the time. Ah, Mr. Rochester...
