not this cute anymore!
I arrived in Utah on Friday night... and since I didn't tell any of my family that I was coming, I was able to crash at Karlin's house (the one in the cute hat.) The only problem was-- we didn't actually get any sleep at all. Around 4 am we forced ourselves to go to bed.. sheesh! Karlin and I have been friends since jr. high and we have ALWAYS been able to talk-- about everything. I used to drop her off from school and the two of us would sit in her driveway for HOURS talking (and crying) about whatever... When we would have a sleepover in high school with a group of girls, Karlin and I always found a corner of the room to stay up and talk ALL NIGHT. Fast forward 12+ years and we haven't changed. She is such a great friend to me and we have been through a lot together! I am so grateful to have her in my life.After a few hours of sleep, Azy and Francine (& fam) came up for breakfast. We made delicious strawberry crepes and chatted the morning away. Fran is feeling much better (thankfully) and Azy is the cutest thing EVER! We had fun, but didn't feel complete without Hillary. Next time I will give a little more warning.....

You are so blessed to have such a beautiful family. I am sure they loved being surprised like that. (that is one of my favorite things to do) I hope you get well,trust your body and instincts, you seem like a resonable person. I'm sure you will find the answer. Homeschooling can really take it out of you. Most moms get some sort of break five days a week. Not us we are die hards.

No wonder you got sick when you got home... did you even slow down for a minute while you were in SL!?! You're family sounds awsome- what a fun big group.
So I was in Salt Lake at the same time doing so many of the same things! Crazy.
Love all your pictures from your trip to Utah. My favorite was Zack's belly peaking through his pjs. PS- It was Copperton Park, not Cottonwood. We are talking about a trip to Vegas, first Adam said something about it and then Karlin mentioned it too. Maybe during Memorial Day week-end. Adam wants to come without the girls and make it a get away trip for the two of us. We'll see. Do you have other plans for that long week-end? I'll call you.
