Last night we tried a new BBQ restaurant that we saw on a "Vegas' BEST of list" and were surprised to find this little hole in the wall (where you couldn't find a place to sit.) Let me tell you-- it was delicious. I seriously had bbq sauce down to my elbows. We had juicy ribs, bbq chicken, corn bread, potato salad, baked beans, collard greens, and homestyle peach cobbler... I thought I was back in Georgia for a minute. We stayed at the restaurant forever because we didn't have anything else to do- and I had a great time. Maybe I was just grateful to be out of the house. ? We paid for dinner with a coupon and picked up our old Honda from the mechanic on the way home... are we ghetto or what? It may not go down in the book (I mean, the blog) as the most romantic date ever, but it doesn't really matter what we do. Aaron is so my style and I am happy just being with him.Saturday, April 5, 2008

Love dinners alone with the hubby especially lately. I can't go anywhere with Weston. You look beautiful.
Let me guess--was the coupon from the "Entertainment" book for Vegas? Did you guys get hooked on that, because we still buy one every year and use it all the time. I personally see nothing wrong with paying for dinner with a coupon (although as a former server, a tip on the full price of the dinner is still a must! Oh, the stories I could tell...)
Anyway, I'm glad you had fun. Next time we are in Vegas we'll all have to go out and try it, because it sounds delicious! (Maybe I am just hungry right now--after all, it has been at least an hour since dinner!)
My mouth was watering just reading about it. and I love that you guys finally have a job, but are still using coupons and refuse to buy a new car! you are totally ghetto and we love you for it!
you DO look great in that picture. why are you do flippin' photogenic?
Glad to hear you got your car back! So...what is the name of the restaurant for all us Vegan's who want to try it too?
The place was TC's Rib Crib and I believe there is only one... it's on Durango and DI (in the same shopping area as Vons. And I have a few coupons if anyone wants one.. buy one entree get one free.
how do you spell entree? that doesn't look right... but whatever.
We have soooo been to TC's Rib Crib, and it WAS an experience, that's for sure...Russ and the boys were in love with it. But my boys will eat ribs - or anything else drenched in bbq sauce any time!
you guys are so cute, i can't believe how long your hair is....holy cow, it was so short last time i saw you. you look great!
I totally want to try it out! Sounds so good!
Lindsay-- yes the coupon was from the famous Entertainment book and now we have one for each car. When you guys come out... we will totally treat.. not necessarily at this place :) but we owe you!
