This was taken just before Ben almost died. I literally had to run out and save him from being crashed into the rocks.. After we were safe on dry ground, it was funny.. but we were both really wet.

These two tried to get as dirty as possible. Sylvia was making sand angels.
He loved putting his feet in the water.
I love the teamwork. The boys trying hard to put up their own tent while Sylvia stands in the middle (and while Zack fought them with his make-shift stick lightsaber).
They always have so much fun together.
This was the mansion tent. It had a fridge, a winding staircase, and an awesome balcony that gave us a great view of the beach. I've never shared a tent with another adult couple.. so glad I could experience it this weekend!
He slept in the car.
She wanted to drive the car.
He wins for putting together the funkiest outfits.
He wins for being the cutest camper.
He wins for having the dirtiest nose all weekend.
He wins the award for getting the most marshmallows on his clothing.
He is the camper who hates getting his picture taken.
I win for taking the kids to see ships light up on the horizon, even though I was freezing and would rather have stayed warm by the fire.
She wins for being an awesome girlfriend who will pick up her family and meet us hours away with zero time to plan. Oh how I love spontaneous people.
oh.. and biggest loser award-- goes to me. I left my cell phone at a rest stop while helping Zack in the bathroom. And my camera that just got back from the shop with a brand new screen? It's broken again. This is terrible news for someone about to leave on a long vacation. Seriously I am a loser with a capital L... must figure something out before Wednesday.

glad you all had a fun vacation and are back safe. You best be figuring something out for your phone and camera! I envy both of your gals' desire and ability to pull together such fun stuff, especially with no planning time! You're both rock star mamas!
That looks so much fun. I thought I was spontaneous, but this makes me look as a life long planner. I'm so glad you had a good time. Moms need that very often. I guess tired lawyers might get something out of it, too:).
