While eating, Zack said the most annoyingist thing that Simon does is take out his pacifier when he's crying. Simon proved that he can do even annoyinger things by spitting up all over himself and my wallet that was inside his car seat. He has been coughing to the point of throwing up, poor kid. I cursed myself for feeding him a jar of vegetable stew for lunch... why couldn't it have been peaches or applesauce? On the way home, Ben expressed his desire to marry a girl who has freckles. Daddy asked him what makes him so sure a girl will marry him. Ben shrugged his shoulders and said, "It's a lucky guess." Then we asked Luke if he thought he would get married and Luke said, "Yes. I AM really cute." Is he ever.
We came home past our bedtimes and everyone curled up on our bed to read scriptures. This is when I knew that when I am with my family, it's never really a bad day... even though sometimes it seems like it. Aaron entertained the boys by impersonating Elmo. I only recorded a second of it on my phone... (and yes, Elmo does in fact say that babies are dumb.)

not this cute anymore!

Man, if that lawyer bit doesn't work out I think that Aaron has a bright future on Sesame Street! Glad your day got slightly better. :)
I give myself bad days too. Even bad weekends...which stinks come Monday morning. I'm glad Cafe Rio can be a little sunbeam for someone else. Also, that's a pretty good Elmo!
BEST.ELMO.EVER. I am in PURE SHOCK at that impersonation - almost scary how good that was.
I believe that you are allowed to have days when you are in a funk. Just so long as they don't turn into a week.
K....I'm freeeeeeeeeakked out by how good Aaron sounds!!!
Something MUST have been in the air. Here's to bad days (toasting an imaginary healthy dose of Benadryl in the air to you)!
Does Aaron ever use that voice when you two are "alone"??? Creepy!!! :)
I'm glad I'm not the only person who wondered about the Elmo (Aaron) and Janet "quality time"...
can't we let this be what it is... just an innocent video of a Dad playing with his kids? If you guys don't get your minds out of the gutter and stop teasing, I am going to lose all my computer privelages. My husband already hates the blog.. If he reads this, I might get my new phone taken away!
And besides, we don't need to role play in the bedroom to have a good time.
PS. Jas- I need Suz's cell number. Have her text me. When can we invite ourselves on your boat? July? August? September? All of the above?
I actually don't believe that Aaron is a lawyer. I truly believe with all my soul that Aaron IS THE VOICE of Elmo. That is frrrrrrrrrreaky. For real.
I'm having a crapster day myself :( Only we're not having Cafe Rio to brighten it up...waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah.
To be honest, he's done much better impersonations... this was just a fluke 30 seconds that I happened to record with my phone (terrible quality.) Believe me, it sounds way better in person. But don't ask Aaron to do it if you see him. Several people have told him he does an awesome Elmo impersonation and he doesn't know what to say--- he just rolls his eyes and then pinches me later for putting it on the blog. So, if you like what I do, please keep it to yourselves :)
I need to get his Arnold Schwarzenegger impression on film. or his Pee-Wee Herman.
That was so funny! Totally something Mark would do!
